Series 2/529-1315

The 2/529-1W valve is a servo-controlled piston valve specially developed for use in hydrogen applications with nominal diameters of up to 50 mm. A minimum differential pressure of 1 bar is required to assist the opening and closing process. To meet the requirements of hydrogen operation, the solenoid sleeve is screwed on, which increases the pressure resistance. Only hydrogen-compatible materials that have been tested according to certificate 3.1 and coated magnetic steels are used. Each valve undergoes a comprehensive function test at maximum nominal pressure, whereby the external leakage does not exceed strict limit values of 5x10⁻⁵ mbar l/s. Optionally, the solenoid can be designed as an explosion-proof version for Zone 1 to meet the highest safety requirements.
