Series 22-0524
The flanged valve Type 22 has a directly acting and forced air operated type of control and it needs compressed air from 57 to 114psi (4 to 8 bar) for operating.
The spring-loaded piston actuator is pressurized with compressed air and lifts the valve disk directly from the seat. The valve is closed by the spring power.
The robust construction has fast reaction times with high spring power and control pressure. When small 3/2-way pilot valves are used, the type 22 is cost-favourable for temperature ranges of up to + 200 °C.
